What films would you add?

How do you guys leave off Dr. Strangelove? That was a great movie, although I guess it could be considered more history than politics.
The Distinguished Gentleman--elections (incumbents) and Congress
The American President--ummm, lobbyists and the role of the president
And how did Brokeback Mountain's score get nominated? I'm sorry, it's nowhere near as good as Munich.
CK... someone is finally talking sense on this thing.
What about Legally Blonde 2; Red White and Blonde for Congress? How can you pick Advice and Consent over America's sweetheart Reese Witherspoon?
American President is far superior to Dave. Dave is a joke. TAP shows the presidency for what it is ... consumed with image.
Also, why the snub of Chris Rock?!? Head of State is the finest Campaigns and Elections movie of our generation!
Brutus
3 movies that you guys left off
1.) as mentioned Dr. Strangelove, a classic
2.)Also mentioned, American president was great, at least for the 40 minutes we saw in class
3.) Air Force One, how many movies have a president literally taking up his words and kicking terrorist butt?
I like a lot of these. Dr. Strangelove, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and the original Manchurian Candidate are probably my top three. But Air Force One is also an interesting choice.
Peace,
Stevo
p.s.1984?
My favorite would probable be Air Force One, Dave, and 1776 in which I love the music. I really got the idea and it was funny to watch.
The War Room--- how'd you forget that one?
Nice blog!
